Sodexo and Foundation celebrates strategic partnerships, scholarship winners and employee recognition awards focused on food sustainability
We are excited to share the latest achievements of our parent company, Sodexo Canada, through the Stop Hunger Foundation. This year, the foundation continues to make significant strides in fighting hunger and promoting sustainable food systems across the country. We are particularly honored to celebrate our employees, strategic partners, and scholarship winners who share our dedication to building a healthier, more sustainable future for all Canadians.
The Stop Hunger Foundation embodies Sodexo Canada’s core mission: to create meaningful community investments that support charitable groups and individuals who work tirelessly to build sustainable food systems, combat hunger in local communities, and empower women in need. Through the foundation, Sodexo Canada is dedicated to donating time, skills, and financial resources to promote sustainable practices and tackle food insecurity, with our employees contributing over $142,000 to the fight against hunger last year.
In 2022, the Stop Hunger Foundation supported more than 45 Canadian not-for-profit organizations, donating over $500,000 and reaching more than 800,000 beneficiaries. This year, the momentum continues with over $210,000 already donated, affirming our commitment to creating a positive impact on communities across Canada.
“Our mission at Entegra is deeply aligned with Sodexo Canada’s goal of fighting food insecurity and supporting sustainable food systems,” says [Entegra Executive Name], [Executive Title], Entegra. “We are incredibly proud of the efforts by our colleagues, partners, and scholarship recipients who embody the values of kindness, responsibility, and a passion for making a difference.”

Additionally, we are proud to recognize the achievements of the Gina Gentleman Scholarship winners, Erin McReynolds, Olivia Lauzon, and Sachin Matadeen, each receiving $2,500 to further their educational pursuits and continue making meaningful contributions to their communities.
“Together with our employees and partners, we are creating a better future for Canadians and the communities we serve,” says Normand St-Gelais, Director of Corporate Responsibility, Sodexo Canada. “In both their professional and personal lives, the organizations, employees, and scholarship winners we are recognizing exemplify the Sodexo and Stop Hunger Foundation values of kindness, dynamism, responsibility, and love for others.”
At Entegra, we know that our people are our greatest asset. Their passion, dedication, and tireless efforts are what drive our mission forward. Through their hard work and commitment to community involvement, they not only contribute to our success but also help create lasting change in the lives of those we serve.
As we continue to support Sodexo Canada’s efforts through the Stop Hunger Foundation, we are reminded of the power of collaboration and community. Together, we are not just fighting hunger—we are building a future where every Canadian has access to healthy, sustainable food.
We look forward to celebrating many more achievements with our employees, partners, and communities. Together, we are making a difference, one meal at a time.
